Cultural Centre by niuhuru Cultural Centre by niuhuru
My latest project of eco-building...
It's cultural centre located in Gliwice (Poland)
I've worked on it since october.

(Interior in a bigger size: [link])

Headlines are in polish... if someone is interested I may translate them (but I think there's nothing interesting written there and everything is obvious ^^; )

I used Sketchup8, Artlantis 3 (Edu), Autocad (Edu) etc... ; )

And... It's finally done : D (uhm... I "just" have to make a maquette...)
now I'm waiting for a grade... (I'm gonna get crazy @_@)

(Edit: it was worth to wait ; D )

I study design and make projects too. That's the thoughts thatoccured to me where I saw your work:
IMO there's still a lot of work to do: the rendering isn't realistic at all, the shadows are very sharp, the hard edges of the cut out people and trees don't look good too, there are also a lot off jazzed edges and some problems with the resolution of the trees on the background.

Besides the composition itself needs improving. All the perspective views are at the bottom. It's better to place them evenly on the sheet
And the blueprints should always be smaller than the perspective views

I think that if you did use 3ds max + Vray, your project would look much better

Thanks for your critique.
I agree that my renderings aren't the best... unfortunately, I have no time to learn 3ds max and I'm still working on the artlantis...
But I made this project a year ago so I hope I've improved my skills...;)

Welcome:) it's good when people see your mistakes and tell you about them
so that when you make a new work, you know how to avoid them (from my own experience)

what are making now? :)

hey :)
I liked the render in the left corner. Nice grass and color choice. Rendering by atlantis and then edited in CS?
